UNIVERSITY HOSTELS

Bukovinian State Medical University provides comfortable and affordable accommodation for all international and Ukrainian students across its well-equipped university hostels. In total, BSMU operates 7 modern hostels, making it one of the universities with the most developed student housing infrastructure in the region. All BSMU hostels are designed to ensure a safe, supportive, and convenient living environment that helps students focus on their academic journey.

The BSMU hostels include both corridor-type and block-type buildings, with rooms shared by 3–4 students. Every room is furnished and equipped with essential items such as beds, mattresses, blankets, pillows, wardrobes, and study desks. Students also have access to dedicated rooms for self-study equipped with tables, chairs, and printing or copying services, ensuring they have everything necessary for academic success.

One of the unique advantages of BSMU accommodation is the availability of separate female hostels, which is a rare option among Ukrainian universities. This ensures an added sense of comfort, privacy, and security for female residents.

The university hostels offer a full range of facilities to support daily student life, including laundry rooms, a gym, and a billiard room. For international students, the canteen plays an especially important role: it offers meals adapted to cultural and dietary preferences and is also used to celebrate various national and religious holidays, creating a friendly cultural atmosphere.

BSMU accommodation is designed not only for comfort but also for convenience. Most hostels are located within walking distance of university buildings or very close to public transport. This provides students with three significant benefits: they can wake up later, save money on transportation, and arrive at classes faster.

Through its well-maintained and student-focused university hostels, BSMU ensures that every student feels at home, supported, and fully integrated into the vibrant academic community.

The university’s accommodation system continues to improve every year, ensuring that students enjoy safe, modern, and comfortable living conditions throughout their studies.
